Myo-inositol is a sugar-like molecule your cells already use in insulin signaling. The trials that matter are in polycystic ovary syndrome and insulin resistance: about 2 to 4 grams a day, often split, for months. Ovulation and metabolic markers move in some of those studies. It is not a fertility spell, and a 1 gram scoop is the start of the dose, not the whole dose.
The gram, not the blend
Many “hormone” bottles mix a little myo-inositol with herbs and a 40:1 d-chiro ratio borrowed from one line of research. The thing you can compare to the papers is grams of myo-inositol. Two to four scoops of a plain powder is that thing. One capsule of a blend usually is not. D-chiro-inositol at high doses has a messier story in PCOS. Start with myo-inositol unless a clinician wants the combination.
It tastes mildly sweet. Take it with water, split morning and evening if 4 grams upsets your stomach. On hormones this is one of the few capsules with a PCOS file. It does not replace the rest of that page: sleep, protein, and not under-eating. On metabolism it is an insulin adjunct, not a drug, and not berberine.
Who should ask first
If you are trying to get pregnant, or you are already pregnant, this belongs in the conversation with the person managing that, not as a solo experiment. Bipolar disorder is a reason to be careful with inositol doses in the literature. On supplementation this is a maybe with a real gram target. If nothing on a lab or a cycle has moved in three months, stop.
